The Logger is the role (person or people) who log real-time during the shoot or log archive or library footage real-time.
A Logger will Create (or modify or Hide) an Event in the Web Application.
They will log real-time using either:
The Lumberyard OS X desktop application is used by one person (editor or assistant editor) to add the logged keywords to clips, add transcript keywords to clips, and make selects string-outs for Final Cut Pro X. (The Lumberyard is where logs are processed.)
The Builder application is for working with transcript based story building using text driven video editing.
